Inkwater Press is proud to present City of Hamburgers, by Mike Reiss, the renowned comedy writer best known for his Emmy-winning work on The Simpsons. In City of Hamburgers, young Jeffrey learns about his grandmother's childhood over a bedtime story. As his Grandma Greta tucks him in, Jeffrey asks, "Why do you talk so different?"
"English is not my first language. When I was a little girl, I lived in Germany," Grandma Greta explains. "I was born in a city called Hamburg." Images of sandwich-citizens soon fill Jeffrey's head. His visions are only confirmed when Grandma Greta mentions a magical dance with a Frankfurter.

City of Hamburgers will be available in October, 2008. For more information, see our press release.
